Terms of Service

Last updated: September 29, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By accessing or using EduQuest, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. If you are using EduQuest on behalf of a school, you represent that you have authority to agree to these terms on its behalf.

2. Who may use EduQuest

EduQuest is intended for schools, teachers, and students in supervised classroom settings. Teachers and administrators must be at least 18 years old. Students use the platform through accounts created and managed by their school or teacher.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us right away if you believe your account has been compromised. Schools are responsible for managing their students’ accounts and access.

4. Permitted use

You may use EduQuest for lawful educational purposes only. You agree not to misuse the platform — for example, by attempting to gain unauthorized access, interfering with the service, uploading harmful content, or reverse-engineering the games or software.

5. Your content

Content you create, such as word lists and activities, remains yours. By uploading it to EduQuest, you grant us a limited license to store and display it for the purpose of providing the service to you and your students.

6. Subscriptions and payments

Paid plans are billed through our third-party payment processor. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We will provide reasonable notice of changes to pricing or plan features.

7. Intellectual property

EduQuest, including its games, design, software, and branding, is owned by EduQuest Game Studio Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the platform — not ownership of it.

All content provided by the school including audio recordings and text remains the property of the school and/or rightful owners.

8. Third-party services

EduQuest uses third-party services, such as payment processing and authentication. Those services have their own terms and policies, which apply when you use them.

9. Availability

We work hard to keep EduQuest available, but we do not guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may update, change, or retire features from time to time.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduQuest is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EduQuest Game Studio Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, where applicable.

12. Termination

You may stop using EduQuest at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and continued use of the platform means you accept the updated terms.
